On the 16th October we identified significantly increased latency to numerous Google IP addresses. This coincided with a recent change on their end to stop announcing their prefixes on IX route servers.
To address this, we have submitted requests to peer with Google over our LINX and LONAP ports which will resolve this increased latency situation, however there is a lead time of around 5 days.
We'll update this incident when our peering sessions are established and latency has returned to baseline levels.
